A Registrant Name
Change is the process of transferring
the ownership of a domain name
ending in .au from one party to another. A transfer of ownership will
start a new registration of the domain to the receiving entity, who
will need to meet the eligibility requirements to hold the registration
of the domain. MD Webhosting charges $90 AUD per Registrant Name Change (new 2 year license included).
Registrant
Name
Changes can not be processed within the initial 6 months of the domain
registration. Any Registrant Name Change that must be processed within
the
initial 6 months, must be approved by auDA. To email auDA, please email
domains@mdwebhosting.com.au, requesting the Registrant Name Change, the
reason
and the new eligibility details of the new owners. MDWebHosting will then
forward
your request for the Registrant name change to auDA and then auDA will
review
and advise MDWebHosting once approved.
