Error 0x800CCC90, 0x800CCC92 when checking email
Solution
If you are receiving the following errors when trying to check your email:
Error 0x800CCC90, 0x800CCC92
*Ensure that you have
changed your domain name DNS settings
and have allowed
48 hours
for these changes to propagate. After this time, your domain name will successfully point to your hosting account with MD. You can change your domain name DNS settings at your current domain name registrar (where you purchased the domain name).
*When checking secondary email accounts, ensure your username is
username@domainname.com
- not username+domainname.com, etc, as certain email clients have trouble using other formats.
*Double check your incoming/outgoing mail server settings are yourdomain.com. If you have trouble sending email, please use your ISPs (Internet Service Provider) outgoing mail servers (obtain from them) as certain ISPs block you from sending mail using other mail servers on their networks.
*Double check that your username & password are correct. Your default email address username and password are listed in your welcome email. All secondary email accounts that you create must use the full email address as the username to check email.
HINT: Don't forget to replace yourdomain.com with your real domain name.

It is worth trying to telnet to the server. I got an error like this..
+OK Qpopper (version 4.0.8) at mail.mailsrv.com starting.
USER ******
+OK Password required for *******.
PASS ******
-ERR [SYS/PERM] Unable to process From lines (envelopes), change recognition mod
es or check for corrupted mail drop.
this was a corrupt mail box or pop temp file. Once deleted everything was fine.
