i) Sign up for an SMS prepaid plan. The more you spend, the cheaper your sms are! Your account will be created automatically if you paid by Credit Card/Paypal.
ii) A password will be sent to your mobile phone to verify your identity.
iii) Sign in to the sms portal with your login details. You can use any computer with an internet browser.
iv) Create a contact group (e.g., "client list", "invoice reminders", "footy team", "best friends", and so forth). Enter in as many mobiles as you like.
v) You can now send bulk sms to your entire list. Each sms you send to a recipient will be counted as a credit. Recipients will get the message from *your* number!
2. How many people can I send sms to at the one time?
There is no hard limit - you can send to as many people as you have credits.
3. If i send the same message to many different people, is it counted as one credit?
No, a credit will be deducted for every message you send. For example, if you sent the same message to 100 people, you would consume 100 credits.
3. How did you get the prices so low?
We use a network of international telecommunication carriers to deliver your SMS, which keeps our costs right down and lets us offer SMS for as low as 12 cents!
4. Is SMS delivery guaranteed?
We cannot provide a 100% guarantee that your sms will reach its intended recipient. However, we have done very thorough testing and the system is very stable and mature. Messages are considered 'sent' once they successfully reach
our Gateway. No guarantee of delivery is provided once the messages are passed on to the carrier servicing the intended recipient.
Messages are not refundable if delivery was successful to our gateway but not the intended recipient. MD maintains no responsibility for the failure of a third party to deliver the messages.
5. Can i 'top up' with extra credit when required?
Yes, you can add to your account with extra top-up credit at any time. Call us at 1300 739 084 to arrange this - once paid for, your credit will be available immediately.
6. How long is credit valid for?
You can use your prepaid credit for six months, after which it expires.
7. What happens if I run out of credit while sending a bulk sms to many different people?
The sytem will warn you that you do not have enough credits available before any sms are sent. You will then be able to either purchase more credits or take some people off the list and try again.
