MD PHP
Hypertext Preprocessor, is a server-side scripting language for creating dynamic Web pages. When a visitor opens the page, the server processes the PHP commands and then sends the results to the visitor's browser. MD supports PHP on Linux plans and is supported FREE on Lite Hosting plan and up.

Disk Space
Web space is hard drive space on our servers used to store files, web site pages, emails, etc. RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) helps to prevents data loss in the event of a hard disk failure by storing and indexing your web space over many different hard disks.
Data Transfer Per Month (Traffic)
Monthly data transfer is a measure of the amount of data your account uses in a month from web, email and FTP (File Transfer Protocol). Our packages have been designed with generous limits. Your bandwidth will reset to zero on the first of every month. Your control panel will notify you when your have used 80% of your monthly data transfer. At this stage, you can easily upgrade to the next level package.
POP3 Email Accounts
Our email accounts are POP3 (Post Office Protocol) email accounts. POP3 email accounts are used to send and receive emails through programs such as Outlook Express and Eudora. Your email is downloaded and stored on your computer.
Web-Based Email
With this feature, you can access your email anywhere through a web browser using Squirelmail, Neomail or Horde (web mail programs). Which program you use to access your email is up to you! It is useful for when you are travelling or away from the office. Access your web mail by going to http://yoursite.com.au/webmail or through your control panel.
Email Forwarding
Email forwarding can forward email from anyname@yourdomain.com to any email address you specify through your control panel, including local accounts. For example, Bob sends an email to webmaster@yourdomain.com. If you choose, this message is then automatically forwarded to you@yourisp.com.
Email Aliasing
Email forwarding and email aliasing can be used interchangeably. MD provides unlimited use of email forwarding. When this is activated, messages sent to a certain email address are forwarded to another address. For example, Bob sends an email to webmaster@yourdomain.com. This message is then automatically forwarded to you@yourisp.com or you@yourdomain.com if you turn on the email forwarding feature on webmaster@yourdomain.com. In this case, webmaster@yourdomain.com is an email alias to either you@yourisp.com and you@yourdomain.com.
Email Autoresponders
Autoresponders can be setup so when an email is received, an automatic reply is sent back. This is good if you are out of the office, or you want to notify the sender that their email has been received. For example, Bob sends an email to sales@yourdomain.com. The autoresponder sends your prewritten message back to Bob automatically. With this feature, you can improve your company's image. Your customers know you have received their e-mail, and you are responsive to their needs.
MD SpamExterminator
SpamExterminator blocks 99.999% of spam, and is very unlikely to block legitimate email. Besides the obvious, time-saving benefits of stopping spam, the service has additional benefits:
- Saves internet bandwidth to your in-house mail server. These savings are often greater than the price of this service!
- Reduces the chance your co-workers will be victims of a credit card or identity theft.
- The anti-virus option reduces the chance your company will be infected with a costly virus.

MD Fantastico
Fantastico quickly installs dozens of the leading open source content management systems on your web space. Each installation requires a mySQL database. Install blogs, portals / content management systems, customer support systems, discussion boards, an e-commerce site, a frequently asked questions site, image galleries, mailing lists, polls and surveys, project management sites, wiki, and lots more!
Your Own Local CGI-bin
With your own local CGI-bin directory, you can store custom CGI scripts written by yourself or found elsewhere on the Web.
MD SSL
SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is the standard security technology for creating an encrypted link between a web server (our hosting) and a browser (you and your customers). A private SSL certificate will show your domain name in the address bar e.g. https://www.yourdomain.com, which gives a creditable image when conducting e-commerce. You have access to your account, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This allows you to set up, change, or maintain your Web site at any time of the day or night.
Front Page Extensions
We support all versions of Microsoft Frontpage after 2000. Frontpage is a program which allows you to create/edit/manage your web site with limited knowledge of scripting. Frontpage has many advanced features, like forms and counters, which use our frontpage extensions to work. These extensions can be installed on your site using your control panel.
Detailed Web Site Statistics (Analog)
MD provides you with a detailed Web site activity report, including both graphical and raw numbers, grouped by weeks, days and hours. Using this information, you can track how many hits you are getting, where those hits are coming from, which page is the most popular, how much data transfer is occurring, and more. This critical information allows you to shape and focus your marketing efforts so that you can bring in highly targeted visitors and maintain your successful Web presence.
Referrer Log
Referrer logs add extended tracking capability to your Webstats and access-log. By turning it on, you will know where your customers are coming from. For example, you will know what keywords they typed in to find your site and what search engine they came from. Referrer logs provide invaluable information for your marketing efforts.
Domain Addons
Addon domains allow you to host multiple domain names from one hosting account, utilitising the extra space and bandwidth available on your main hosting account. Addon domains point to a subdirectory within your main hosting account. From a web user's perspective, an add-on domain functions just like any other domain name, and the user will not know the site is hosted from your main account. The browser's address bar will show 'http://www.add-on-domain.com' (no reference to your main domain name). Addon domains are created through your control panel.
Domain Aliases
Domain Aliases are other domain names which point to your main domain name. This is useful if you have multiple domain names, for example: domain1.com, domain2.com and domain3.com. You want all three domain names to work with your web site / email. When you access any of these domain names, you will be redirected to domain1.com (your main domain name). The browser's address bar will also show domain1.com. Parked domains are created through your control panel.
